There are incredibly inexpensive alleged tungsten rings for sale !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Many sales, many 5-stars, but the rings aren’t even a small fraction of what I paid for my wedding band five years ago. Sure, I overpaid by buying at a little mom-and-pop jeweler, but all I know is that ring was a beast. Zero problems, light, durable.

But the reviews on these online rings are like, “It was a lot heavier than we thought it would be!” As in, it’s actually made of heavier metal? I don’t know. All I’m saying is I don’t want save big bucks for a potentially grossly inferior product... Anyone have experience with these bargain-bin rings?

If not, any recommendations for replacing my lost tungsten ring? (new one needs to be tungsten, as o ther metals irritate the crap out of the skin) My last one was !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! But maybe I should try something different, like this gunmetal one:

Too much? I have no idea.

I have a silicone band that I wear in lieu of my normal ring.  Haven't worn the original since.  No scratched paint, etc.  Nothing to ground yourself on when working with a battery.  If your fingers expand when hiking, it doesn't cut off circulation.  And I stay just as married as I am with the hunk o' metal.

I have a titanium ring I think it was like $200. Actually made by a jewe ler, very nice and strong AF.

I also have a silicone ring for mon-sat and usually wear my nice ring on Sundays since it's my only day off.

Not familiar with tungsten, I have a titanium and ironwood ring that I really love and then a silicone ring that I wear to work. They make solid wood though too, that should be lighter.

I bought one of those a few years ago after my original wore out. Same thing, tungsten ring from Amazon, mine looks almost just like the last pic you posted just not black on the inside.

I’ve actually loved it - it is heavy and I’ve worn it daily for 4 years now and there are hardly any marks on it.  It has held up way better than my white gold ring - in 10 years it had almost worn through.

I switched to a silicone ring too. It's way more comfortable at work.

All about the silicone ring replacement. I still have a tungsten carbide ring for rare occasions but I have gone all in on the Qalo. Also, never titanium.

Does gold irritate tour skin?

A lot of people are allergic to the nickel that is in most gold jewelry you can get platinum without nickel and can find gold that way too. But if you’re prone to  losing them go Amazon

I got a tungsten one with a carbon fiber inlay when I got married and thought it was a bit big and heavy. I wore it for a while thinking I’d get used to it but never really did so I just stopped wearing it. It bugged my wife for a little while but not wearing a ring doesn’t make me not married. I should probably get a silicone one though.

TDLR: I’m not a jewely type of guy, I have no regrets about spending minimal money on one of these rings, and I have been very pleased with the quality.

I use one of the Amazon cheapies as my wedding band. In fact, I didn’t know which I would like better, so I bought two of them. The tungsten carbide one is what I wear. My wife likes it better and I like that I can crack it in half with vice grips if absolutely necessary (my hands tend to swell up from time to time). The titanium one is lighter, however I wouldn’t really call the tungsten carbide ring heavy. It’s very well balanced too, it will spin like a top for a surprisingly long time.

I have ...several. I take my wedding ring off and fidget a lot, my little kids take it and play with it, so its been lost many times and found a few. I had a real one at first but then my wife just started getting me these. Its a little wide for a wedding ring but not crazily so. They’re nicely made, doesn’t chip/tarnish/anything, and I don’t do anything to take care of mine. I have even used it as a makeshift press before haha. If you like the style, do it. Save a lot of money too...
